All across the Unites States gardeners have adapted to the demands of local soil and climate conditions to produce amazing combinations of blooms and shrubs. The well-known American photographer John Pfahl has an ongoing fascination with Man's complex interaction with Nature. Extreme Horticulture is his photographic survey of gardening and the natural landscape at its boldest, most bizarre and most exuberant.
